NON-FICTION:
The Noah Mystery, God's Reason for the Flood — This is a book based on research for my most recent novel project. It has gone through many working titles, each powerful in its own right, because the subject matter is so powerful. For in-depth information on this project, click on the website banner at right or go to www.GenesisCode.Net. Before Noah's Flood, Man did something bad. It was bad enough to justify a worldwide deluge. What is most peculiar is that no one has really asked what that crime was. We know that it was something Man has been incapable of doing, since. Why? Because God said that He would never again use the Flood. What can possibly be far more evil than the acts of Hitler, Stalin, John Wayne Gacy, and thousands of other evil individuals from the last several thousand years? Now, we know. Finally, we know God's reason for the Flood — not only the surprising target, but why that target needed to be eliminated.

Mission: Atlantis — This is also a book based on research for my most recent novel project. No direct proof was found, but evidence was discovered that proves a huge event occurred 9600 BCE. Three separate events in scientific literature share the date given to us by Plato for Atlantis's demise. And you may have guessed it, there is much, much more. As exciting as this project is, this is taking a back burner to the other non-fiction project, above. When more information becomes available, it will be accessible by clicking on the title picture, above, or by going to www.MissionAtlantis.com.

FICTION:
Edge of Remembrance — My most recent novel project. I'm about to start another draft, reworking the tone of the book, and adding a few minor characters. Also, the two timelines (far past and near future) will be more tightly connected through the two main characters. The aim is to give the story what the Romans called "gravitus" or "weightiness." Hmm-m-m, sounds like fun.

Touch the Stars: Diaspora — This is the sequel to my first novel, co-authored with John Dalmas, Touch the Stars: Emergence. It has taken a back seat to other projects for far too long. However, I've grown a great deal as a writer in the last few years. When I'm done with Edge of Remembrance, I will be ready to finish the next draft. As in software development, sometimes it is far easier to start a new project than to rework an old one. I'll be keeping this wisdom in mind as I approach the start on the next draft.

Other

Education has long been a passion of mine. One might find this hard to believe once they know that I almost failed first grade. My teacher in Klamath Falls, Oregon saved me. Once she saw that this poor reader surpassed everyone else in math, she knew something had to be done. She took it upon herself to tutor me privately after school. At the time, I thought I was being punished. Arrr-r-rgh, torture!

I have come to be convinced that there is genius in every child. They may not all be Einstein's. Some may be Picasso's, others Edison's and the like. The current educational system is clunky and poorly organized compared to what it could be. I think the world's children deserve far better.

Another passion is that of the philosophy of "inclusion" (see my award-winning essay, "Outsiderness in the Scientific Community"). Mix these two together (education and the philosophy of "inclusion") and you get an idea my father, Rod Martin, had dreamed before he died — that of having a foundation based on the best ideas in interdisciplinary problem solving. Over the next year, I will be putting together a business plan for the non-profit Infinity Dynamics Foundation (see, www.InfinityDynamics.org).
