A most unusual place on Earth
A Region Full of Strange Geological Features

Coming Soon
Geology of
Atlantis
There are many places on Earth that have an Atlantis-like attraction. Only one region, though, fits the location mentioned by Plato. It is not Antarctica, Peru, Bahamas, the Aegean, or Indonesia. Plato said Atlantis lay beyond the Strait of Gibraltar (Pillars of Herakles), and near the region in Southern Spain called Gadira or Gadirus (centered on modern day Cádiz).

Few regions, if any, could claim as many unusual features. But the creation and destruction of Atlantis left its mark across a far larger area.

Read the detailed account of what may have led to humanity's greatest tragedy. Follow the clues in the well-documented evidence behind one of the most captivating dramas in human culture.

Geology of Atlantis is a scientist's view of existing data — a hypothesis based on a broad body of scientific evidence. Let's be brutally honest. There is no "smoking gun" evidence regarding Atlantis, but the growing body of circumstantial evidence is becoming quite compelling. It should be enough to make many a hardened scientist pause. We scientists are, after all, only human.

If you're at all interested in the truth behind myth and legend, Geology of Atlantis is a must read. Bookmark this page.
