Epsilon Eridani
This is one of the closest star systems to our own, at only 3.27 parsecs (10.7 light years). Epsilon Eridani has at least one planet, and another one suspected but not confirmed. According to current estimates, the system is a veritable youngster at 0.66 to 0.82 billion years old (Gyr). Regrettably, it is also somewhat metal deficient.
